The Canterbury Academy works in partnership with a variety of professional organisations and agencies including The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Marlowe Theatre, The Morris Agency, Actors Training and Cascade Dance. This provides a unique combination of tuition by industry professionals and access to state of the art facilities.
The Canterbury Institute for Performing Arts offers programmes in acting, dance, music, musical theatre
and technical theatre in Senior
School for students wishing to
work towards a career in the
entertainment industry.
The Canterbury Academy, an Artsmark Gold school, has always embraced, and remains firmly committed to, the arts.
Each student in Middle School can access 5 hours of music and drama every 2 weeks. The Academy's Talent programme enables students to experience workshops and perform with professionals from the industry.
