RECOGNISING & REWARDING ACHIEVEMENT
OUR HOUSES
We appreciate the talents of every child and our house system helps us recognise individual achievements in a variety of ways. Each house has a mixture of students and therefore a mixture of talents exist within each house.
All staff and students are allocated to houses. Students belong to mentor groups by house, meeting their mentor daily. They attend regular house assemblies to celebrate their achievements.
Each house has a member of staff as Head of House as well as a student House Captain from the senior years. House Representatives come from all years and form our House Council.
Our four houses are named after famous local individuals who represent our school's strengths:
Academic Excellence, Performing Arts, Music (practical learning) and Sport.

HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES
We have nearly 100 house representatives across the 4 houses. These children assist with activities within school, such as tour guiding, interviews of new members of staff, supporting charitable events such as non-uniform days and our weekly bake sales.
They also get rewarded for their contribution to our school with trips such as the WE Day at Wembley where last year they saw Diversity, Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry.
House System
Our weekly house newsletter showcases some of the remarkable achievements of our young people in and out of school.
