TEACHING STAFF

In the Speech and Language Facility there is a high adult-pupil ratio, 7 staff to 30 pupils; this includes a part-time Speech and language Therapist.  Staff work together as a team to carry out assessments and to plan and implement language and learning programmes.

PASTORAL SUPPORT

All students are part of a mentor group with a facility teacher who liaises regularly with parents and interested parties.  The faciity rooms are supervised at all times, including break and lunchtimes, exclusively for facility students.
