Elliot Jones Receives County Badge for Bowls

Year 9 student, Elliot Jones was presented with his county badge for representing the Under 25's Kent Indoor Bowls Association.

The badge is awarded to players who have represented Kent this year.

Elliot has been playing bowls for approximately five years and is a member of Oyster Bowls Club in Whitstable.

Dan King Wins County Shooting Championship

Over Easter, Year 8 student Dan won the Kent Sport Trap Championship with a score of 77/100 in a very tough round at Southdown.

He has also received some sponsorship from a company called Teague who have provided him with a full set of chokes for his gun and will take care of any repairs or alterations his gun may need.

He has some important dates coming up including an opportunity to shoot in an international junior competition. Dan also shoots in the CPSA Premier League which is held at various venues across the UK.
