A level maths students STEP up

Pictured are some of our year 12 A Level maths students (Jamie Watson, Ricky Steen, Kelvin Kong and Alex Day) working collaboratively at a STEP problem solving session on Saturday November 18th at the University of Kent.

STEP is an examination used by Cambridge University, Warwick University and numerous other Russell Group universities to identify these to whom they will offer places to study mathematics or mathematics-based subjects. The study sessions (11 Saturdays between November and May), funded by the Further Maths Support Programme, provide access to an opportunity for students from state-funded schools that would not normally be available to them.
