Elliot Bailey recognised in national basketball league for outstanding performance

Elliot Bailey received national recognition in the Elite Academy Basketball League by being named Player of the Week.

This was for his performance last Wednesday against Southampton side Itchen College. Elliot scored 21 points and hit a three point shot that sealed the game for The Canterbury Academy who have now won both of their matches this season.

Elliot has also been closely involved with a mentoring scheme where older students work alongside Key Stage 3 students to help develop their academic skills. Please congratulate him on an impressive start to the school year on and off the basketball court.
