Appeti Tennis School Students make Wimbledon finals in August

At the start of the Wimbledon fortnight, a group of the Appeti Tennis students were taken to Wimbledon by Miss Standing and Helen Shattower to watch some top level tennis. The trip was fantastic and inspiring enough for the students to get some great tips on how to develop their game.

This weekend, Afalina Vinogradova and Ulrich Neinaber both qualified to play in the Regional Road to Wimbledon finals this summer. This is an under 14 event and both of them are still only 12! They qualified through winning the county finals at the weekend. This means they will be playing at Wimbledon at the same time as Ciaran Brewer is playing in the National event. This is a fantastic achievement for all of them and obviously the tennis school. Three players at Wimbledon from one school is an amazing achievement.
