Under 18 Cricket Team beat Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School

Our first appearance in the under 18 Kent Cup went really well. We bowled Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School out for 116 and then chased the score down by losing no wickets.

The opposition got off to a reasonable start and were 60- 1 off 10 overs but some quick bowling from Taylor Chandler was well backed up by Owen Harrison and Jack Doyle. Doyle and Harrison both took three wickets.

A target of 116 could have been tricky on a difficult wicket but Jack Doyle and Bradley Goldsack shared an unbroken partnership of 118 to see their team home.

Goldsack finished on 58 not out with Doyle remaining unbeaten on 46.

The team included several year 9 and 10 students which is a great effort considering this is an under 18 competition.

The team was as follows.

  1. Bradley Goldsack 10

  2. Jack Doyle 12

  3. Josh Weller 13

  4. Taylor Chandler 12

  5. Owen Harrison 12

  6. Annabelle Richards 12

  7. Harrison Pack 10

  8. Harry Divers 10

  9. Charlie Tucker 9

  10. Freddie Adams 9

  11. Adam Aitken 9

Please congratulate them when you see them around the school.
