Canterbury gymnasts compete in national finals!
A group of gymnasts from the Canterbury High School travelled to Stoke-on-Trent last week to compete in the national finals alongside 180 other gymnasts representing schools from all over the country.
Over the course of a very long and challenging weekend, the students performed brilliantly and were a credit to the school throughout two long days.
The under 19 boys placed third in their category and then received a trophy for the South East Region . Our mixed under 19 team squad came first in their category and collected a gold medal for the South East region .
The boys and mixed squads won the Gold and trophy for Best Region in the UK for representing the South East .
The students behaviour was impeccable and on one day, the CPS students sat and watched for about twelve hours whilst not competing .
The CPS students then performed really well on Saturday and gained a lot of experience from the event.
The students from The Canterbury High School who represented the school in such fantastic fashion were.
