District Netball Success against Langton

The Year 11 netball team beat Simon Langton Grammar School for Girls this week. The girls got off to a difficult start finishing the first quarter 2-1 up but in the second quarter, the team became more settled. The third quarter saw Langton up their game and it was tied 8-8 at this stage.

Canterbury High started to fight a little harder with Lauren Gillmore making some vital interceptions and these were quickly converted by Lauren Matthew. The final score was 13-9 to Canterbury High. This is a great result against one of the strongest sides in the district.
