BBC News reports on Chatham Residential
BBC Breakfast Reporter, Graham Satchell joined students from Canterbury Academy live on their Brilliant Residential aboard the HMS Cavalier at the Historic Dockyard Chatham. He reported on the huge claims being made by our Brilliant Residentials campaign about overnight educational stays: “Researchers claim school trips with an overnight stay can have a profound effect on relationships, learning and independence”.
It emphasises, again, our commitment to the holistic development of our young people; nurturing their problem solving, communication and team work skills. So they can return to our school and classrooms with more confidence in their ability to do well and achieve, not just here but in their communities and in their future education and employment too.
