Oliver Richards impresses in Kent Tennis success

Oliver (Year 9) represented Kent in county cup tennis qualifiers over the weekend. Kent took on Oxfordshire in the group and Oliver won both his singles and doubles taking the team to a 4-2 win.

Oliver also won his singles and doubles against Cambridgeshire contributing to another team win. The deciding group match was against Lancashire with the winner going through to the overall final.

Kent were unable to defeat Lancashire and Hertfordshire in their next two matches but Oliver only lost one match over the full competition.

Oliver was voted the Kent County Cup Player of the Tournament which is a tremendous achievement.
