We like to Move It, Move It!

Over Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this weekend, students from the Dance Programme and Musical Theatre Programme performed at Move It, the largest stage school and dance college exhibition in the country, at the ExCel Centre in London.

The Canterbury Institute for Performing Arts had a stand, and we had nationwide interest in our courses – thanks in no small part to the strength of the students’ performances. After performing on Saturday morning in the Showcase Theatre, many musical theatre students were actively chased by some of the top colleges and universities in the country, inviting them to audition for their degree courses. One such college, the Brighton Academy, will be coming to visit us to personally audition all of our Year 13 students based on the strength of their performances.
