BILLY ELLIOT: The Journey begins!!

last night the Canterbury Academy took the first steps toward being the first school/non-professional theatre in the world to be licensed to perform BILLY ELLIOT: THE MUSICAL.

Nearly 100 staff and students, mostly KS3 and KS4 students – including an incredible number of boys – headed to London to see this iconic show at the Victoria Palace in London’s West End.

The students were awestruck, inspired and (most importantly) immaculately behaved. They were an absolute credit to the Canterbury Academy.
