Payten Sisters enjoy national touch rugby success

The England Schools touch rugby tournament was held in Cardiff on 8th and 9th July at the Strade School. A team of boys and girls from the Canterbury High and Simon Langton Boy’s school competed in the mixed team event.

Canterbury High was represented by Danni, Ayla & Erin Payten. The team won all their pool and knockout games, finishing as champions after the 2 day event.

On Saturday 10th July, the Canterbury Cougars mixed touch team competed in the penultimate DTS tournament hosted at Lincoln RFC. Again, the team won all their pool, semi’s and finals on the day. The Cougars team included the Payten sisters. There is a photo attached of the squad below. If you see the girls around school today, please congratulate them on this impressive achievement.
