Kai Appleby scores 156 for Whitstable 1st XI

In a Kent League cricket match on Saturday, Kai scored 156 for Whitstable against HBSC. His innings which contained nineteen 4’s and four 6’s is one of the highest scores by a player under the age of 18 in the Kent League.

Kai is part of our sixth form cricket academy and joined us from Kent College in November, 2014. He is now in the county under 17 squad as well. The attached photograph shows him playing one of his trademark reverse sweeps.
