Canterbury Cougars

A Canterbury Touch Rugby mixed team (Known as Canterbury Cougars) participated in the O2 Touch Tour tournament in Loughborough this past weekend. This is an England Rugby sanctioned tournament, and supported actively by Jonny Wilkinson.

Danni, Ayla and Erin Payten, students of the Canterbury High School and Canterbury Sixth form participated on the Canterbury touch

team at this event. The team won all their games, including the tightly contested final to be crowned champions on the day.

Teams from all over the UK took part in this tournament, therefore is a major achievement by the Canterbury Touch side.

Danni, Ayla and Erin are actively promoting participation in touch rugby as a great way to keep fit in a social yet competitive environment.
