CPS Gymnastic Team comes 4th in National Competition

A team of students from the primary school went to the Milano Nationals over the weekend where they competed in the under 11 Floor and Vault Competition.

After an impressive performance, the team came fourth and only missed third place by 0.35 of a point, which is the slimmest of margins in gymnastic scoring.

The judges spoke to them after the presentation and were particularly impressed by how much they had improved since March.

The students were exceptional on the floor but also represented the Academy extremely well throughout the whole weekend.

We were the only state school competing out of around sixty schools who made it to the finals.
