The practical learning pathway is delivered through 3 colleges. Courses provide students with routes into the workplace, practical training and experience and individualised guidance and support.
In a vibrant and exciting sixth form, the vocational and occupational pathway offers students the opportunity to mix and match their preferred courses with those from any other college within the sixth form.
The Vocational College at The Canterbury Academy offers programmes of study for learners whose skills, abilities, gifts and talents lead them more naturally into the world of work with a range of BTEC qualifications.
The Occupational & Enterprise College offers programmes of study for learners whose skills, abilities, gifts and talents are more practical with employment based training qualifications.
The Specific Needs College is designed for students who need guidance and support to bring out their best.
