MOODLE & INDEPENDENT STUDY
VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT TOOL FOR STUDENTS
Moodle is a vital web based learning resource enabling students to access all courses and resources for the subjects they are studying in addition to a variety of other useful information to help them at school, i.e. timetables, access to school network, exam and revision information.
Every student has their own unique login to access this resource. Students are expected to use Moodle for their independent study and revision as it is their pathway to all their learning resources and a communication link between student and teacher.
Click Moodle logos to view login page.
HOW TO ACCESS MOODLE
To access Moodle click the Moodle Login button on the top left of this website or type in the Moodle website address into the url bar at the top of any web browser (see below):
https://moodle.canterbury.kent.sch.uk
Students should use Moodle as their gateway into the school network. The login for Moodle is the same as each student's network login for the computers in school. This means one login and password works for accessing both.
Any issues with access should be directed to the ICT technicians who will be able to reset login details.
Click this icon to go straight to the Moodle Login page
(see top left of header)
A VITAL LEARNING TOOL
All courses and resources are available to view or download through Moodle enabling access to student's shared and personal work areas at all times.
Work can be downloaded, edited
and uploaded either direct to a
relevant teacher/course area or
saved back into a student's own
school network area.
